Policies

We collect and store your personal data (including names, email adresses and other practical details including pertinent medical data) to organize Danse Macabre LARP events, ensure your safety, and keep you informed.

Your data will be securely stored on a password-protected Google Drive on servers that may be located outside the EU/ETA. The information is protected and can only be accessed via username and password and is only accessible by the organizing team and the board of Oneiros VZW.  The data is stored for up to twelve months after the final Danse Macabre event larp and then deleted. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at dansemacabre@oneiros.be. You may also unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

We do not allow participants to take photographs or record during the game without express permission by the team. If there is a photographer present at our event, the following policy applies: 

Opt out:

At any point, you may opt out from all photography, either via your registration form, or via email to dansemacabre@oneiros.be. If you do not opt out we may use any and all pictures taken for promotional and commercial purposes (see license agreement below).

Flagging images:

There will be a flagging process to remove pictures and videos that you do not want published. You will receive an email from the organizer after the event to the email address that you provided in this application process. In the Email there will be a link provided to a photo Gallery with watermarked, very low resolution pictures of the Event. The pictures are NOT meant for publishing, only for the flagging process. Then, within the communicated timeframe, you can flag images of your person that you do not want published. You hereby consent to the publication of the images and/or recordings that have not been flagged accordingly to the license agreement.

If you flag an image of your person it will not be published. The organizer reserves itself the right to render you fully unrecognizable (pixelate/blur/cut out) in a picture instead to allow publication.

License Agreement:

The Organizer is authorized to have image and/or sound recordings made on the Event and the Participant and to reproduce these images and/or publish or arrange for the publication of these images in any form, especially but not limited to Email, Websites, print and social media and in any manner, especially but not limited to commercial purposes and promotional purposes. The Participant gives unconditional permission for the production of the aforementioned recordings, processing, publication and use of such, in the broadest sense. The participant hereby irrevocably waives any interest they might have in the above recordings. To the extent that the participant has any copyright, neighboring rights and/or image rights to the above recordings, they assign these rights without reserve to the organizer and they hereby irrevocably waive their image rights and/or will not appeal them. Everything mentioned here as far as this is permitted by the law.

The Participant is authorized to use the images and/or recordings that the Organizer provides of the Event for the purpose of private use and in the manner of publication on Social Media platforms and private Websites.

Tickets to Danse Macabre are not refundable. Tickets can, however, be transfered to another participant with permission of the organizer. All other policies of Oneiros apply.
